Alex has particular experience in dealing with applications under the Trusts Act 2019 including applications for the removal of trustees where breaches of duty are involved and settling disputes between beneficiaries and trustees. Many of her cases involve claims under the Property (Relationships) Act 1976 and the Family Proceedings Act 1984 concerning the division of relationship property between separated couples, the payment of maintenance and claims under section 182 of the Family Proceedings Act where there are trusts present.
“From the very beginning, your guidance and advice has been based around (the deceased’s granddaughter’s) wellbeing and advising what you believed was best for her. You made her feel like a client and not ‘just a child’. You kept us well informed and explained things in a way that we could understand, and you always made yourselves available to us whenever we had a question.”
